tiniball.gif (219 bytes)   The 2004 A.G.M. was held at the Sports Pavilion, Benner Lane, West End on Tuesday 30th March with plenty to discuss as ever. You can read a not-so-brief but hopefully enjoyable, detailed account of it here. It includes the Committee's Report on the 2003 season.     [Top of page]

tiniball.gif (195 bytes)    The new season is upon us - at last! Dates of what's happening are also posted on the top of the "Current Season" page.     [Top of page]

tiniball.gif (195 bytes)    Winter net dates have been finalised. They all occur during APRIL at the SURREY CRICKET CENTRE, George Abbot School, Guildford. All sessions commence at 9.00pm sharp. The day/dates are as follows - Thursday 1st, Thursday 8th, Monday 12th, Wednesday 14th, Monday 19th, Thursday 22nd, Monday 26th, Wednesday 28th. These have been the best we can lay on due to the sheer popularity of the place, perhaps the best we have ever been to!      [Top of page]

tiniball.gif (195 bytes)    The Players End-Of-Season Dinner for 2003 will be held at the Red Lion in Horsell a little later than was originally planned, i.e. Saturday 17th April! Hit by delays, our annual "Ocars" will soon be here. Five course meal thrown in for £23.50 per person. Book now with attending numbers!     [Top of page]

tiniball.gif (195 bytes)   The long-planned net construction will happen this year in April. This necessary scheme for our future was hit with many delays, not least the previous planned sites being unsuitable for varying reasons. The current plan was even referred to County level before being resolved after a meeting between the Tennis Club and WECC Committee. The twin-bay nets will be sited adjacent to the eastern boundary, pointing southwards toward Streets Heath. members are urged to contact Beefy with preferred dates of a weekend where all can put their shoulders into the construction for use this season. The playing area itself is (I'm told) looking very good, having had a lot of TLC over the winter months from Serviceteam. They have confidence of handling the demands of around a dozen Sunday fixtures, not to mention others that may occur this year.     [Top of page]

tiniball.gif (219 bytes)   Recent changes: The Season 2004 page has been updated after a delay. As is usual with the WebSite in general a lot of housework will continue over March and April 2004. A sitemenu is now available on all pages, via menu option or by clicking on the club badge on top top of every page - where prudent to do so. Otherwise, if a page you want is no longer available, it may be lost for good! Most pages have been tinkered with and updated. Work continues.....

Please remember this site is always updated here and there, subject to contract and a following wind (E&OE) - if there is anything not quite right or not there at all that should be, please, PLEASE inform the WebMaster.     [Top of page]
